The 2014 Winter Olympics,
officially the XXII Olympic Winter Games,
or the 22
nd
Winter Olympics,
are scheduled to take place 7 to 23 February 2014,
in Sochi, Russia. Canada’s elite winter athletes
are riding a wave of momentum following the
record breaking 26-medal performance
four years ago in Vancouver. With several
returning medalists, fresh rising stars and the
addition of several new events in which
Canadian athletes have proven
internationally strong,
the 2014 Canadian Olympic Team
is poised for success in Sochi.
