This Winter our favourite collection of Escarpment shop owners
have presented us with a season filled with fabulous fashion inspi-
ration, sophisticated style and more fun than you can shake a ski
pole at. Glamour is back - making a statement like never before.
Bonjour, femmes fatales! The rules have changed. Gowns work with
great boots, re-cycled fur trims go everywhere and vivid colour
brings high performance ski wear to life for the ultimate, downhill
adventure. Casual looks turn up the heat with an energetic infusion
of technical solutions designed to keep you toasty and stylin’even
on the most frigid days and nights. Forget about playing it safe with
the classic and plain - this is a season of contrasts and alternatives,
a time to lead not to follow and to construct your own unique looks.
Special thanks to Claire Woodhouse for loaning us space to build our Winter
Wonderland and for assisting in the ‘snow making’! Our appreciation also goes
out to our volunteer models for generously giving of their time and to the Salons
who crafted hair and make-up so expertly in order to create these stunning, icy
and mysterious, fantasy looks.
