In an area that focuses on tourism and directing people to experience
every inch of living in and around the Escarpment, these markets pro-
vide an enjoyable way to spend a few hours—both for those who are
here visiting and for those who live locally—they are great way to
learn about this magical place we call home. The ability to purchase
freshly picked produce, real home baking and possibly even meet the
people who grew it or baked it, is priceless!
With "support local economy" always on the brain, farmers’ markets
are a delicious way of keeping money in the community — where your
dollars go straight to the farmer and not to the series of planes,
trains, and trucks it might have taken to get here.
