By removing everything down to the bare walls, the opportunities to redesign
the space were endless. The original, u-shape pine kitchen was replaced and
a sleek, dream kitchen is now the focal point of the great room, smoothly link-
ing the living and dining rooms together. Transformed into a contemporary
space, an 11 foot concrete island greets you as you enter the main living
room. The custom design Euro-style cabinetry, made of red birch and brought
to life with a dramatic, dark stain, enhances the look while creating a warm
& welcoming space where it feels right to gather.
