The Boathouse is a fully winterized, 750 sq ft space with wide plank
pine floors, a large glass sliding barn door and a wrap around cedar
deck cantilevered over the stone foundations. The seamless glass rail-
ings allow an unobstructed view of Bay islands, water and sky with
the interior finished as a serene meditation and yoga space where
Brenda works with yoga instructors, artists and group facilitators ex-
ploring ideas for retreat programs and custom designed weekends at
this serenely magical place.
The main room with 20 ft ceilings and welcoming mezzanine sur-
rounding the central stone fireplace is a wonderful space for reading,
unwinding or simply being. Two sliding glass doors open into a unique
screened porch / dining roomwith a 10’ harvest table made from the
salvaged timbers from the old boathouse cribs.
There are three spacious bedrooms, one on the main floor with a
queen bed and a single, two more upstairs, each with a full king sized
bed and a single. A two piece bathroom is convenient to the two
upper bedrooms and on the main there is a full bath complete with a
traditional clawfoot tub and shower.
In addition to the main house there are two fully refurbished cabins
and a rustic outdoor hot / cold shower for the ultimate stress release.
